Description
The 240 mm reinforcement block is the strongest reinforced element in Estonian construction — suitable for lintels over openings in 240 mm walls and for reinforcing bond beams and retaining walls, while maintaining a uniform masonry appearance.
ARC242 is a 240 mm wide reinforcement block (U-block) designed for casting concrete bond beams, concrete lintels and horizontal reinforcement in 240 mm thick walls. The U-shaped channel allows reinforcement bar to be placed and concrete poured directly inside the block, creating a monolithic structure that also supports heavy loads.
The reinforcement block is used as lintels at the tops of openings, as bond beams above floor slabs, and for reinforcing retaining walls. The block's external dimensions (240 x 190 x 390mm) match those of the ARC240 standard block, so the masonry keeps a uniform, smooth appearance.
